Eeeeek!!! I can not wait to hear from you! Please head over to my 'contact' page and fill out the form provided. Once submitted, I will receive your inquiry (and do a little happy dance) and then I will get in touch within 24 hours and we will discuss alllllll the little details.

For weddings, we will schedule a call or zoom/FaceTime date (if you're a visual person like me) and we will make sure that I am a good fit for your big day. If everything feels right, I will send over my proposal and a 30% non-refundable retainer fee + signed contract will need to be signed in order to secure your date and get the ball rolling!

For sessions, I will send over my questionnaire so that I can get a better idea of the vision you have for your shoot! We will then discuss dates, times, and locations. Once we've nailed down the details I will send you my contract + invoice where a 30% non-refundable retainer will need to be paid in order to secure your date.

What do your photoshoots ential?

Whether your photography session is indoors or outdoors, my main goal is to capture the love between you and your loved ones. I typically start my sessions with a few quick poses, you know, the ones that every grandparent loves to hang on their fridge. Once the cheesy smiles are out of the way I will guide you through a series of prompts that focus on your love, the individual personalities, and the connection between every person in your family.

I may have you in a giant dog pile, twirling in a grassy field, snuggled up on the couch, or making silly faces, but I promise the magic created in those tiny moments is something you'll look back on fondly.

How many photos can we expect to receive and how will they be delivered?

All of my sessions include every final image. Now, I know that might sound crazy (considering you probably hear the shutter on my camera go off a million times per pose/prompt) but what this means is I go through every image and hand select the best of the best. I guarantee at least 30 images with my Short Story Session and 60 images with my Full Story Session, although those numbers are usually dramatically higher.

As for weddings, you can expect around one image per minute of coverage. Although again, I am a chronic over-shooter which often leads to me delivering many more images that I promise.. whoops!

Once I have perfected your photos, I will upload the files onto an online gallery. You will then receive an email with detailed instructions on how to download your images. Pleeeease, and I speak for all photographers here, DOWNLOAD these precious memories and don't just screenshot them. In doing this, you guarantee the highest quality images when printing and sharing.

What is your 'why'?

Simple, nothing fills my soul like delivering memories in the form of high quality photographs. I have loved taking photos since I was old enough to hold a camera. I was always the friend setting up "photoshoots" in high school, filling my phone with thousands of photos during mediocre outings. I remember sitting on the patio at my childhood home for HOURS, just trying to snag a photo of a bird eating the seeds out of my mom's flowers. Spoiler alert, I got the photo, and it is still one of my favourites to this day.

Now, as a mama, I have realized just how quickly life passes us by, and if it weren't for the thousands of snapshots I have, I may already forget the way my daughter twirls her hair in her fingers, or the face my son makes when I say the word poop.

Will you travel for a session/wedding?

ABSOLUTELY! All sessions include 20km of travel from Kamloops city centre or from my home in Barriere, BC. Beyond that I do charge a small travel fee of $1.00/KM.

When can we expect to get our photos?

My turn-around times vary from month to month throughout the year but I guarantee all regular sessions to be delivered within 2-3 weeks and weddings within 10-12 weeks! During the slower months (December-April) these wait times are typically quicker.

How often do you offer mini sessions?

I offer 3 mini sessions a year. Mother's Day minis, Fall minis, and Holiday minis! These sessions book up quickly. I always recommend getting on my email list in order to be the first to know when these dates come available!
